Whale & Dolphin Watching Cruise
Overview
The deep water just off Saint Lucia's west coast is home to dolphins and whales all year. On this half-day cruise, the boat heads out from the coast while the crew scan the sea for blows and fins.
Spinner, spotted and bottlenose dolphins are the most common sightings, often riding the bow wave in large pods. Pilot whales and sperm whales live in these waters too, and humpback whales pass through on their migration, roughly between December and April.
A guide explains what you're seeing and how the animals live, and drinks are served on board. Sightings are never guaranteed, but the views of the coast and the Pitons from the water make it worthwhile either way.
