Cartagena Street Food Tour: Walled City & Getsemaní
Overview
Eat your way through Cartagena with a local guide. This walking tour moves between the walled city and Getsemaní, the lively, mural-covered neighbourhood just outside the walls, stopping at street stalls, markets and small family kitchens.
Expect the flavours of the Caribbean coast: arepa de huevo, a fried corn arepa with an egg inside, fresh ceviche, patacones (fried green plantain), stuffed potatoes and tropical fruit and juices you may never have tried. Sweets from the Portal de los Dulces often round things off.
Between bites, your guide explains where each dish comes from and points out the plazas, street art and history along the way. Come hungry.
