Bratislava Old Town Walking Tour
Overview
Get your bearings in Bratislava on a two-hour walk with a local guide. The Old Town is small, so you see a lot without rushing.
Pass under Michael's Gate, the last surviving gate of the medieval walls, and wander through the Main Square with the Old Town Hall and Roland's Fountain. Meet Čumil, the bronze sewer worker peeping out of a manhole, and stop at the Primate's Palace. St Martin's Cathedral, where Hungarian kings and queens were crowned for almost three centuries, sits right below the castle hill.
Guides share the city's history as Pressburg and Pozsony, and tips for where to eat and drink afterwards. Some tours can be extended up to Bratislava Castle for the view over the Danube.
