Búzios Beaches & Viewpoints Buggy Tour
Overview
Beach buggies are part of the scenery in Búzios, and a ride in one is the quickest way to get your bearings on the peninsula. Your driver-guide picks you up at your hotel and loops around the coast with the roof down, stopping for photos and stories along the way.
You start along Canto and Armação beaches in the centre, stopping at the bronze statue of Brigitte Bardot, whose visit in 1964 put Búzios on the map, and the Three Fishermen sculpture that honours the town's fishing roots. Then the road climbs to the Brava viewpoint above the wild Atlantic side and drops to Forno, a small cove of reddish sand and turquoise water, before finishing at João Fernandes and João Fernandinho.
It's a short, light-hearted outing that helps you choose which beaches to come back to on your free days.
