Buenos Aires Half-Day City Tour
Overview
Buenos Aires is big, and this guided tour gives you its shape on your first morning, so you know where you want to go back to.
It starts at Plaza de Mayo, the political heart of the country, with the pink Casa Rosada, the Cabildo and the Metropolitan Cathedral. From there you head south to San Telmo, the oldest barrio, with its cobbled streets and antique shops, and on to La Boca, where the painted tin houses of Caminito recall the Italian immigrants who settled by the port.
The route then swings past the converted docks of Puerto Madero and north to Recoleta, with its French-style mansions and the cemetery where Eva Perón is buried, and on through the parks of Palermo.
