Overview
Time your Bulgaria break around Eurovision 2027. Burgas hosts the contest at Arena Burgas, with the semi-finals on 11 and 13 May and the Grand Final on 15 May 2027, and this trip puts you on the same stretch of Black Sea coast for five nights of the event period.
You fly direct from London Stansted with Ryanair on 10 May 2027 and start with a night in Sofia, Bulgaria's capital, then continue to Plovdiv, one of Europe's oldest cities, for a night among its Roman ruins and painted houses. A coach then takes you to the coast at Sunny Beach, about 30 km north of Burgas and next door to Old Nessebar, and brings you back to Sofia at the end.
This is the Plovdiv and All Inclusive coast version, with mixed board: bed and breakfast for a night in Sofia and a night at the 4-star ESTE PARK Hotel in Plovdiv, then five All Inclusive nights at HI Hotels Imperial Resort, about 100 m from the sea in Sunny Beach.
