Overview
Royalton Grenada sits on Tamarind Bay at Magazine Beach, on the island's southwest tip, with white sand on two beaches and about ten minutes' drive from the airport. It opened in 2020 and has around 270 rooms and suites in low buildings around the pools and gardens.
Everything runs on an all-inclusive basis, with no reservations needed for dinner. Start the day at the Gourmet Marché buffet, then choose between Grazie for Italian, Ma Maison for French bistro dishes and Taj for Indian in the evening. Drinks, snacks and 24-hour room service are included, and there are bars on the beach, by the pools and a swim-up bar.
Luxury Rooms have a balcony or terrace with garden or sea views, a king or two queen beds, a rain shower and a minibar restocked daily. Days are as busy or as lazy as you like: kayaks, paddleboards, Hobie Cats and snorkelling gear are free, there's an introductory scuba lesson, tennis, fitness classes and shows at night. Children aged 4 to 12 have the Clubhouse Kids' Club, and the Royal Spa offers massages and a hydrotherapy circuit at extra cost.
