Hotel Tres Banderas

Overview
Hotel Tres Banderas is a restored colonial house in the San Diego quarter of Cartagena's walled city, about 50 metres from Plaza de San Diego. Outside the door are narrow streets of painted houses and flower-covered balconies, with the city's squares, restaurants and the old walls a short walk away.
The boutique hotel has 24 rooms set around two inner courtyards full of plants. Superior rooms have a queen-size bed and a balcony with a view, and every room has air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a safe, a minibar, cable TV and Wi-Fi.
Up on the third floor, the terrace has a small pool and a spa, with loungers looking over the rooftops; the pool is open from 8am to 8pm. Breakfast is served each morning in the hotel's restaurant. It's a quiet hotel, and children under 12 are not accepted.
