Fly direct from Gatwick and spend seven nights on Carlisle Bay, the calm, clear sweep of sand just south of Bridgetown. Your base is the 4-star Radisson Aquatica Resort Barbados, right on the beach, in a Double Room with breakfast each morning.
Carlisle Bay is made for easy days: swim straight off the beach, snorkel over the wrecks in the bay, and walk into the Garrison Historic Area, part of the UNESCO-listed Historic Bridgetown and its Garrison. Lunch and dinner are yours to choose, from Neptune's Grill on the hotel's beach deck to rum shops and fish fries around the island.
