Boracay Sunset Paraw Sailing
Descripción
Every evening the paraws, Boracay's traditional outrigger sailboats, push off from White Beach with their tall, colourful sails, and the bay fills with silhouettes against the setting sun. Joining them is one of the island's simplest pleasures.
A paraw is a narrow wooden hull with bamboo outriggers on either side, and a net stretched between hull and outrigger where you sit or lie just above the water. Two local sailors handle the boat, using only the wind, so the ride is quiet apart from the splash of the waves. Depending on the breeze you skim along White Beach for half an hour to an hour, often getting a little wet, and watch the sky change colour.
You board straight from the sand, so wear swimwear or clothes that can get wet and keep your phone in a dry bag. Sunset slots are the most popular, so it's worth booking ahead.

No. It's an optional extra for travellers who add a Boracay extension.
